Welcome!

My name is Rebecca Reagan. I specialize in realistic custom portraits, and I create original works of art. I have always loved achieving realism in my work. While it can often be challenging and time-consuming, I find it very satisfying in the end.

I began making custom portraits while I was in high school. Over 10 years (and a few gray hairs) later, and I’m still at it, improving every year. Colored pencils have been, and probably always will be, my favorite medium to work in. I like the level of control and the smooth blending that can be achieved. The last couple pieces I made are done in a realistic style, but have a surrealistic twist. I am influenced by so many artists, but if I had to pick a few favorites, I would go with René Magritte, M.C. Escher, and Wassily Kandinsky.

I am a Dallas native and have lived in North Texas all my life. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Texas in 2015 and worked in art restoration after graduating. I wasn’t fulfilled with the job or other prospects, so I decided to go back to school for nursing. I completed my BSN at Texas Woman’s University in the fall of 2019. I currently work as nurse and recently started graduate school to become a nurse practitioner.

I started this art business as a passion project in 2017. I have goals of having a shop with products like prints and stickers, but things can be slow-going at times since I have a whole other career. If you like what you see and want to be notified about new products or sales, please consider joining my mailing list (at the footer of this website ;) ) Also, please feel free to contact me if you have a project in mind.

My two cats, Caesar (gray) and Augustus (black).
